Rome, Italy — Italian social network Servizi announced today that it has hired 200 people for the company’s global engineering team.
The 200 hires are the second-largest batch of new employees to join the company since the acquisition of a social network from its parent company, Aptoide in July 2016.
Servizi’s global workforce of 600 engineers will be supported by 200 people in Italy, according to the company.
The company also announced that it will create 10,000 new jobs in the U.S. for the next five years.
Servismi’s workforce has grown by 50 percent since 2016, and today the company employs about 8,500 people worldwide, according the company website.
Servisti has raised over $2.6 billion (US$2.2 billion) in financing.
The company said it will begin hiring on January 1, 2021.
Servista has more than 8,000 employees across Europe, Asia, and the U and the company said its growth will be driven by its focus on building strong teams and building a strong company culture.
The acquisition of Servizia’s social network led to the creation of Servismi, a platform that helps businesses connect with each other and with customers, to create a more seamless social experience across all their digital platforms.
Servistsi said it is now in a position to grow rapidly.
It plans to build its business into a leading social network in the world by 2022, and to be an international leader in the areas of business and marketing by the year 2020.
